The Jellies in the Aquarium where amazing to me. The design and color combinations where so alien it was fantastic.

This was the Monterey Aquarium. The kelp forest and other exhibits had so much color and beauty to them.

I was in Camel this weekend for a wedding and the beach was over cast but gave a great mono chromatic feel.

this is a work in progress. i've become much more interested in paintings that ask questions rather than give answers. with this piece, im still trying to find the color and composition and i want to give clues of what just happened, but also leave much of the story up to the viewer. i have an entire back story to this, and will try to convey that as much as i can. this was inspired by the "gunfighter" piece i did a while ago. just as that piece should ask questions of, who is this guy, and why does he have a satchel of money, this one should ask, why are there 2 horses and only one wounded man? any ways im still working on it. cheers.
somedays i feel like this and i have it easy!

heres another piece i've been working on for an art auction. the color has been the toughest thing and all i can say is, when in doubt add more layers and color burn the hell out of it.
